Our story

Prior to1987, the township of Bas-Mauco existed without a village. On the initiative of Mayor Auguste Feugas, groundbreaking took place in June the same year.

In 1989 we majestically celebrated the village’s creation, with the opening of the first businesses, which created the need for quality lodging and dining.

As for us, Marité Darrieutort, Claudine and Gérard Bonnefoy, we fell in love with this new village focused on the future.

As a family with our combined experience in the hotel and restaurant business, we opened the Hotel Restaurant ALIOS in 1991 right in the heart of this very village.
